Coller Capital’s 2024 ESG Report

Strategy and governance

Oversight of ESG resides with the senior leadership of the business, and our Head of ESG & Sustainability, Adam Black with support from across the platform, notably the ESG Committee.

The ESG Committee was established in 2011 and meets quarterly to oversee the implementation, effectiveness and continued suitability of our ESG Policy, as well as wider ESG initiatives impacting the firm and funds (investments). The Committee is comprised of senior management figures and representatives from across the business.

A culture of ESG

At Coller Capital, we aim to make ESG a responsibility for everyone, woven into every role and all that we do as a firm. This can be seen through our rigorous investment process which involves consistent efforts from members of the Investment Team, supported by colleagues from Legal and Compliance, Finance, Marketing and Investor Relations, as well as our firm-wide efforts, that are spearheaded by HR, Facilities and internal committees including the DEI Committee and the Sustainability Working Group.

The ESG team and its contributions are essential to what we do. Having them sit within the CIO Office means that we are fully aligned in our approach, with the ESG team included at each step of the investment process.
