Coller Capital expands private wealth team with addition of Director Sean Pronger

  • The appointment is the latest in a series of senior hires that Coller Capital has made to grow its Private Wealth Secondaries Solutions (PWSS) business in North America
  • Follows significant expansion of the firm’s global Private Wealth Secondaries Solutions (PWSS) platform, which has raised more than $4 billion since its 2023 launch

New York, Wednesday, 24 September 2025 – Coller Capital, one of the world’s largest dedicated private market secondaries managers, has appointed Sean Pronger as a Director on the firm’s Private Wealth team. Based in Southern California, Mr. Pronger will be responsible for Private Wealth Distribution across wirehouses and broker dealers in Southern California, Southern Nevada, and Arizona.

Mr. Pronger joins Coller Capital from Starwood Capital, where he was leading fundraising efforts for Private Wealth in private real estate and private credit across Southern California, while also managing the firm’s Western Division Sales Team.

Prior to Starwood, Mr. Pronger spent over a decade in senior roles with leading investment managers, including seven years as a Senior Vice President at Delaware Investments (now Macquarie) and five years as a Regional Vice President at ING Funds (now Voya), where he focused on fundraising across both the wirehouses and independent channels.

Before launching his career in financial services, Mr. Pronger played 11 years of professional hockey, including nine seasons in the NHL.
