Coller Capital announces James Peoples to lead wealth distribution in Northern Europe

London 08 September 2025 – Coller Capital, one of the world’s largest dedicated private market secondaries managers, has hired James Peoples as Director, Head of Northern Europe Private Wealth Distribution within its Private Wealth Secondaries Solutions (PWSS) team, based in London.

Mr. Peoples brings more than 15 years of private markets experience to Coller Capital. He was previously a Senior Alternative Sales Specialist at Franklin Templeton, where he was responsible for covering wealth management clients, family offices and institutional clients, with a particular focus on the Lexington secondaries strategies. Prior to that, Mr. Peoples worked at CQS, Muzinich, BlueBay Asset Management and Goldman Sachs.

Mr. Peoples will report to Boris Maeder, Head of International Private Wealth Distribution, and his appointment marks another significant step in the expansion of Coller Capital’s PWSS business in Europe. In March 2025, Coller Capital announced Jonathan Aiach as Director, Head of Southern Europe Private Wealth Distribution and prior to that, Roman Eggler, who oversees the DACH region. The PWSS business, which was launched in 2023, now comprises around 70 dedicated individuals globally, while drawing on the investment expertise of the Coller global platform.

This appointment follows the successful launch of Coller Capital’s suite of global private equity and private credit secondary funds which include Coller Private Equity Secondaries (CollerEquity) and Coller Private Credit Secondaries (CollerCredit). In addition to these perpetual SICAV funds, Coller offers US domiciled funds, both of which have attracted significant investor interest and capital since their launch in 2024.
