Global and regional outlook for private equity

The Summer 2017 Global Private Equity Barometer returned a number of findings. It appears that, over the medium term, LPs forecast an improving picture across all the major investment geographies. They are, on balance, even more confident about prospects for the medium term than the short-term. Another finding showed that half of LPs expect that private equity will grow at the expense of public equity. This is also reflected in their target allocations plans.
