Erwin Roex, Senior Adviser

Erwin is a Senior Adviser responsible for origination, execution and monitoring of investments.

Prior to joining Coller Capital in 2003, Erwin founded and ran the secondaries business of AlpInvest Partners (then NIB Capital Private Equity). During his eight years with AlpInvest, he also established a London office focused on mid-market buyouts and founded AlpInvest Mezzanine.

Before this, Erwin was Managing Director Structured Finance at WestLB Europa and the bank's risk manager for Benelux, and prior to that, a VP of Chase Manhattan Bank, where he held positions in structured finance and corporate credit. Erwin has been a non-executive director of numerous companies, and has sat on the advisory boards of Lexington Partners and Intermediate Capital Group.

Erwin has a Licentiate from the Rijksuniversitair Centrum, Antwerp, Belgium, and is currently on the advisory committees of Coller Iberica and Forbion Capital Partners. He is fluent in Dutch, English, French, German and Spanish.
